School can be a door that opens the world to a child. It can also be a place where some children feel out of place and forever behind. At SVAE we desire to help each of our students reach their potential as they grow, mentally, physically and spiritually. This means that we take into account our students’ different learning abilities and provide resources to help each one achieve success.
Marti Williams, our learning resource teacher, will provide small group instruction that specifically targets reading, math and study skills deficiencies. She has her own classroom, filled with manipulatives and materials that make learning dynamic and fulfilling.
As a certified teacher and with a wealth of experience in the field of education, Marti is highly qualified to evaluate our student’s abilities and provide instructional advice to our classroom teachers. As a compassionate educator she has a passion to help students find the door to learning open and inviting.
